The Technical & Cultural Committee

The Technical and Cultural committee is involved with promoting
technical, professional and cultural activities. Its activities include
preparing the cultural and technical programs, statistical analysis of
the gatherings and events and cooperating with the other committees and
the Board.

The Organization and Membership Committee
Chair of the Committee: Shervin Sheidaei (organization@csiea.org)
The Organization and Membership Committee (OMC) mission is to promote
membership, keep the record of the members, issue membership cards and
provide useful statistical information about members while protecting
the privacy of the information. This Committee provides the only
official way to contact members. OMC's other mandate is to take care of
the nominations and elections procedures.

The Social Affairs Committee
Chair of the Committee:Alma Rahmani (social@csiea.org)
The Social Affaires committee aims to facilitate interaction,
cooperation and collaboration among members. This committee provides
guidance to the newly arrived engineers and architects. This will be
done through interaction between the Canadian
organization/establishments and the new comer. One-to-one partnership
will also be considered (with volunteers) when they are available. Among
other tasks, this committee is also responsible to establish
communication with other technical and professional organizations in
Canada whose goals and practices are not in contrast with those of
CSIEA.

The
Publication Committee
Chair of the Committee:Golcheh Monjazeb (ViceChair@csiea.org)
The publication committee’s mission is to broadcast the CSIEA
activities. All meetings, reports and events will be announced through
this committee. Currently, the publication committee has three
subcommittees: Website, Advertisement, and Newsletter. The Website
subcommittee is responsible for managing and updating the website of
CSIEA, the Advertisement subcommittee provides announcement and
invitations, and the Newsletter subcommittee provides periodic
newsletters. These subcommittees cooperate closely with other
committees.
